Hi everyone, welcome to a time of being still and being loved.

My name is Alisa Keaton.

Go ahead and take a moment to place yourself in either a seated and upright position or

lying down on the ground.

For position you choose, consider the length of your spine.

So take a moment to adjust, perhaps wiggle yourself into an attentive and upright position,

whether you're seated or lying down.

If you're lying down, consider yourself with your back against a wall, looking for a

long spine.

And now begin to breathe.

Inhale for the count of five.

Exhale for the count of five.

Breathe over and over.

And in this practice, come back to the breath.

Whenever you notice, you may have wandered somewhere else and being right here in your body

with breath.

Father God, we thank you.

We thank you for your breath in us.

We thank you for our bodies that work today.

Even if some parts don't, we thank you for the things that

do.

We make our agreements here and now that you are good.
