Welcome back to a very special episode once again, because at the end of the month, especially

with, you know, Christmas coming up and people are looking at gifts and all the kinds of crazy

things that you can do. It is time for the book club pick of the month. The chirp book

audio book club. I'm missing up when I'm saying the whole thing. You know exactly what I'm

talking about. I do this like every month. You do. This month's book is called a distant mirror.

The calamitous 14th century? Yes, which I know you said that as a question here. I will say this from the beginning. Usually when it comes to a lot of these different history topics, I am the person that goes really in depth about all of this. But I have been exceptionally busy this past month. For anyone who is watching this on YouTube right now, who physically sees us, you've probably seen like there's been a lot of different content that's been going out.

There's been a lot of different things that I've had to do.

He's trying to get some time off for Christmas.

And so as a result of that here, I've just been going into overdrive creating things.

And Gabby, Gabby over here is the one that was listening to the book, like literally weeks before I was.

It was a good book. I mean, it is a long book. I'm not going to lie to you, but it's so worth it. I think chapter three was my favorite because the entire time I'm like, what on earth is happening? And when they got into the religion. Yes. Yes, the religious aspects. The corruption of the religion and the lack of laws and the

religion and just how the popes work, the papacy. It is a good lesson. Yes. It's very interesting.

I think it's totally worth. Is it like three or four bucks? It's absolutely worth the three or four bucks.
