Listen, I know that I said that January was going to be a little bit quieter

and that we were, you know, we were going to feed you with one episode a week.

Well, you know, it's a new year.

It's a new raft of bonus episodes.

And it's a speedy return to soundtracking for Nia de Costa, who we spoke to, well, I actually

spoke to her during London Film Festival in October.

But we shared that episode with you of her talking mainly about Heda towards the end of

last year.

But she's back and for very good reasons because she joins us to discuss her follow-up to 28 years later

The Bone Temple. It stars Ray Fines, Jack O'Connell, who we got a sniff of at the end of the last

film as Jimmy, Alfie Williams and Erin Kellerman. It picks up the story on the mainland as our

young hero from the previous film, Spike,

is taken in by a slightly crazed gang of psychopathic zombie hunters. I mean, the jimmies, basically.

Listen, I don't want to say too much about the film because you've really got to go in and

experience it. But what I will say, and you'll hear me chat to Nia about this, is the fact that not an easy thing to come in, one on a film that has such a cult following, you know, in terms of that original film.

And then the praise and how brilliant that follow-up was from Danny Boyle, 28 years later.

But what is absolutely extraordinary is how Nia has managed to keep this film,

the Bone Temple, within the family of the 28 family, but very much made it her own and really

poured so much brilliance, creativity and vision into her version. It is fantastic. It's terrifying. It's

funny. It's one of those things as well, and you hear me tell her this in the interview,
