I'm so excited to be back with the new lineup just in the last week, right?

Yeah, you were the first.

We said, when Steven starts, John Siracusa has to be the very first guest we have on the show.

I'm so glad that you agreed to this honor.

But I have been thinking about you a lot, John, because of all the folks in our little world of Apple podcasting,

I feel like you are one of the biggest authorities on the Macintosh computer that we all love.

And the Mac has gone through a bit of a renaissance in the last year.

And one of the things we're going to talk about today is I want to pick your brain a little bit on your thoughts and all that.

It's kind of like that short from the Animatrix, which is a series of animated shorts based in the Matrix universe.

It was called the second renaissance.

I feel like we're on at least the second renaissance of the Mac, aren't we?
