from hearing me on the Bill Bert podcast welcome and thank you for taking

the ride it was great to be on Bill Bert's podcast a couple days ago a lot of

people dug it which felt good felt good I was on there talking about my new

podcast the Grail I was shouting out all the great handmade stuff and people

seem to do of a dug it so thank you so much for that I think back to a year

ago this month this is the last week in January and last year I

did a full dedication to thrash metal music thrash January and kind of

makes sense to have this man on today at the end of January here kind of a

continuation of thrash January we have Mr. Phil Demel here from violence

formally a machine head Bay Area metalhead like myself I've known this man

many many many years and it's so great to sit down and talk to him kind of a

celebration of both of us being a live still which is which is not guaranteed

out there but he had some killer stories talking about the old days of the

Omni and the Stone and and thrash metal filling in for Gary Holt and Slayer

and some machine head talk all of that stuff and just great great human killer

guitar player killer guitar player so thank you Phil for doing the show and I hope

to get to see you soon in person somehow one day get rid of this goddamn this

goddamn fucking voodoo going across the planet get back to enjoying life in the

meantime I'm glad we have each other with this podcast and patreon and
