glad to be here so Joe you well like many of our guests have pretty varied background. Give us a overview of the path you traveled to get to a construction company owner.

Sure. Probably started formatively around 1997. I was three years old, and my parents had a full gut remodel of their house in Georgetown.

And I remember Mickey Payne was a builder, and he was mixing up some drywall mud.

And he was telling me, oh, yeah, it's the mud I got out back.

So, you know, little me.

I thought that was really interesting.

And then we'll jump ahead right to shop class in high school.

I had a really energetic experience shop teacher.

Two of them actually, Gary Stewart and Bruce Hefty.

And they really ignited the actual passion for the trade.

You know, that may be interested in it.

Then, you know, like a regular kid that goes to college, I had a couple of jobs here and there.

And one summer was on a framing crew, and they did a nice custom homes, so I had a good exposure there.
