Summary

Jay discovered CrossFit in 2009. As a former competitive triathlete and a private running and triathlon coach, Jay quickly saw how effective CrossFit workouts would be, both in the gym and on improving performance in any sport. After experiencing the benefits first hand, he incorporated private CrossFit training into his athletes programming. In late 2011 he became an assistant coach at CrossFit Virtuosity while continuing to work at New York Sports Med and Physical Therapy as a PT Aide.

Jay competed in Club Water Polo for FSU. In 2002 he took on the sport of triathlon, focusing on the XTERRA off-road circuit and was sponsored to race all over the US, Japan and Europe for the 2005-06 seasons. Jay has achieved the distinction of CrossFit Level 3 Certified trainer. He is one of only six in the New York area.
