Today I want to share with you an interview that I gave on the Gordian Not Podcast.

Jake the host was awesome and it was just fun to just kind of cut loose about economic

theory and free markets.

So today is a real free market for all Friday.

It's something that, you know, it's Friday I get to share a little bit more of my personal

opinions on matters, but I think you'll also appreciate our insights into Catholic teaching

on this subject.

So without further ado, here is the two of us discussing free market for all Friday.

To kind of kick it off, the key question at the heart of economics is compared to what.

It's a question of opportunity cost.

So you're, you're specialized, you're specialized in defending theism, Catholicism, the resurrection.

And yet you also defend free markets and oppose socialism.

Sure.

Let me ask you, why do you think that that's a good use of your time?

Because you clearly think it's quite important.

Well, I think it's important to promote the dignity of human beings.

I mean, for example, I do defend, you know, the existence of God, the basics of the Catholic

faith, which are important for us to understand why human beings have intrinsic dignity at all.

Right?
