Good afternoon and welcome to the Mike Omerich show. We start today's program with something that everyone that knows me knows I am filled with and that of course is Irish guilt.

I just can't wait. Sometimes it's best to get it right out of the way I am aware

that I missed a commitment that I had made and I missed it over the weekend

when all of you boys were there and I walk into the studio and the only person in the studio is Mr.

R.J. Hang Dog Diaz.

He had a sad face.

I said, hey, R.J.

How you doing? And he's like hang dog so yeah you're looking at me

where is his heart of his sleeve so I'm here to begin the show with an apology to my

coworkers mr. Ronnick m Mr. Burbank, Mr. Santana, Mr. Spiwhack, and most importantly, don't make me laugh.

I'm trying to sincerely apologize. Right,. I'm sincerely apologize.

And most importantly, Mr. Diaz, and our good friends over at Northern Virginia Community

College who set up this wonderful thing for us for life saving and I was not in attendance.

Now many of you that watched the show on Friday might have seen me wink at the camera

in a way that would indicate that I really had no intention of making this thing but that's not altogether true

It's partially true you were just together true. You were making sport. I was making sport

This is what you do. You have fun. But at the same time I

realized that the situation on my end was mishandled and I should have I should

have either said I wasn't going to be there or I was going to be there

I should not have allowed myself that wiggle room which is incidentally is the way I would handle every commitment if I could.
