0:59.8	cruise news. Hey, Sherry. Hi, Doug. So a pricing glitch caused ultra-low cruise fares to populate
1:06.3	on carnival.com. Yeah, so last week, Carnival sent out a promotional email, and it listed several
1:12.9	sailings at a ridiculously low price. Several seven-night cruises had a price tag of $100, and that was for
1:20.4	the cruise. It didn't matter if you were two people or a single cruiser. And there was one six-night
1:26.4	Western Caribbean cruise aboard the Magic that was
1:29.0	leaving in barely a month, also for $100. But if someone checked on Carnival's website, they would
1:35.4	have seen the actual price for that identical sailing was $509. So what happened? Well, if you
1:43.6	receive the email and if you logged into your Carnival
1:47.3	VIFP account, it showed the rock bottom casino rate. And casino rates are given to
1:54.5	passengers who have spent anywhere from $1,000 to $5,000 a day in the casino.
