Welcome to the Restless Politics Special Edition with me, Rory Stewart and me, Anastakamble.

0:14.5

And this is, I think you said, I think I agree with you, the week that everything changed,

0:19.5

but do you want to tell us why this is the week that everything changed?

0:22.4

Well, two big things. The first is, I think that Kierstammer found his voice and found confidence.

0:31.3

And I think confidence is such an important thing in any campaign, but especially in politics.

0:36.2

1:26.2

with a conservative budget.

1:27.6

And you are, I know in Jordan, so you may not have had the pleasure that those of us in this country

1:33.5

have had of listening to what I think will go down in history as, on a par with Prince Andrew's

1:40.4

pizza express interview in terms of a disastrous media round.

1:46.0

And in fact, somebody just reminded me that one of Liz Truss' media advisors was formally an advisor

1:52.8

to Prince Andrew. So just quickly, for listeners and other parts of the world, what's happened?
