You Drive, U Text, U Pay, is the National High Visibility Enforcement

and Awareness Campaign that supports law enforcement's

amplified efforts to combat texting while driving.

Why is distracted driving so dangerous?

Because text messaging requires drivers to take their eyes off the road,

their hands off the wheel, and their mind off driving.

It is perceived by many to be the most dangerous distraction on our roadways.
