Yep, uh-huh. Her blog is My Battle Call. She and I have been friends, again, like blogger friends, we online.

We had never even, this was the first time we had even spoken in real life and that's kind of cool.

Yeah, but you knew her story.

I had no idea about anything that she was talking about and whoa like I'm blown away because

it's it's there's lives out there that we just don't know don't understand and when you hear them for the first time, it's like,

holy shit, this does exist. It's not just like in the movies or stories that you hear about

from people you don't know or this is real and holy shit yeah I mean I wanted to in honor of

Mother's Day I mean there are millions of women we could have spoken to and I

wanted to talk to Valley because I've known her story for a while.

She is, you know, she's raising kids who have hearing loss and cochlear implants

while she's also in a military family and has a husband who's gone a lot of the time.

And she has to do a lot on her own.

And I always say, as moms, we're so hard on ourselves and sometimes we you know we don't

give ourselves enough credit for what we do but my God we are stronger than we
