sure if you've ever been a Shark Tank fan, which many of my listeners are, that you

remember them from season five when they were pitching a new business called

Grace and Lace. It was a riveting evening for all of us who were recording that day.

Every shark didn't say a word when we heard the story that Rick and Melissa told us

as to how they got into their business.

Rick and Melissa, welcome, and I'd love you to start with that short story,

however you want to tell it, for the few people out there

who may not have heard it, because I never

get tired of hearing it again and again. Welcome.

Okay well thanks for having us Barb. Yeah my pleasure. Hello. So good to

always hear your voice Barb. Always good to hear you. I feel like I could start my pitch if you wanted me to start there.

Yeah, why don't you start your pitch? Bring us back to that fateful day that I got to be the luckiest partner in the world when the two of you trotted in with I remember

tremendous self-confidence and my first reaction and seeing you was whoa are they hot

stuff and then you opened your mouth and tell us tell us what happened.

Well, you know, I guess the start of our story is, is we call Grace and Lease our accidental company because we didn't start out to start a business,

like most people do.

I call it accidental for that reason.
