And let's set aside whether or not cheating is a huge issue.

Let's not even mention Philadelphia, because all things considered, I'd rather vote anywhere

than Philadelphia.

That said, Rasmussen found that 57% of likely U.S. voters believe it is likely that the outcome

of some elections this year will be affected by cheating, including 30% who say it's very

likely.

So whether or not we have a theft

problem, we have a trust problem. And a representative democracy can't function without trust.

Completely agree. So. And the immediate question that occurs to me is, do we have a trust problem because we have

fundamental failures in the system or corruption in the system?

Or do we have a trust problem because we get a relentless barrage of people on social media

and elsewhere saying that you can't trust the

outcome of the elections.

Right.

And that's not an either or.

It wasn't social media that took that took a full week to count the votes in Maricopa County.
