I'm your host Heather Ashley and today you get part two of the murder of Jessica Lloyd,

which started as a missing persons case and evolved into two murders,

two sexual assaults and 48 break-ins all committed by a prominent Canadian military officer.

So he left off last week with the insane revelation that officer Russell Williams confessed

to both murders, both sexual assaults, and offered up that he also broke into 48 different homes

in an effort to steal their underwear. It's not often that we get the full confession of a serial

predator, but this time we do. The entire thing was videotaped and a lot of it's been transcribed,

so let me walk you through the mind-blowing interview he had with police where he detailed

more depravity than anyone knew they were dealing with. The interrogation took place on February 7,

just a few days after that roadblock and lasted for 10 and a half hours. At that roadblock,

you remember that police took note of his tires and his odd demeanor. He had told police that

he was in a hurry because he had to get home to his sick child. The child he didn't have and

most certainly was not sick. Authorities started the interview by asking Russell multiple times if

he wanted an attorney and even offered a list of attorneys that would offer free legal advice

over the phone and he declined every single offer. He chats with the detective about the two

sexual assaults and says that they happened not far from his place in Tweet. Russell tells him that

he didn't even know the first attack had happened until the OPP went door to door after the second one.
