The Noel Prize in Literature for 2016 is awarded to Bob Dylan for having created new poetic expressions within the Great American song traditions.

This is sound opinions and yes as the world now knows Greg on October 13th the

Swedish Academy named Bob Dylan as a Nobel Prize winner in literature.

This instantly set the internet on fire, right?

I mean there's a presidential election, but then second only to that, the internet exploded by people anti the notion of a singer-songwriter

winning a prize in literature and other people saying that Bob Dylan deserves any award that anyone would ever want to give him.

I mean personally I think he should have five Michelin stars right?

Obviously we're Dylan's super-fans. We did a three-part appreciation of Dylan's

long career could have easily been 30 parts.

He's an American treasure.

He's a treasure for the world in terms of what he's done for songwriting, right?

Yes, absolutely.

And it's funny to me, Jim, that Dylan seemingly has not acknowledged.
