Genesis chapter 39 verses 20 through 23

and Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, the place where the King's prisoners were confined, and he was there in prison.

But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the

keeper of the prison and the keeper of the prison put Joseph in charge of all the

prisoners who were in the prison.

Whatever was done there, he was the one who did it.

The keeper of the prison paid no attention to anything that was in Joseph's charge

because the Lord was with him and whatever he did the Lord

made it succeed. Did you hear that, three different times.

We see what God was doing in the middle of this circumstance

for Joseph.

So he's in prison, unjustly in prison.

And yet the Bible says twice the Lord was with him,

the Lord was with him.

And then even there in prison, the Lord made him succeed,

gave Joseph success.

So it just makes me think, I don't encourage you to think,

have you ever been in a situation that you would not have chosen to be in.

Maybe even a situation that you have been unjustly put in.

You are in that situation because of someone else's sin against you.

I'm guessing we're all familiar with times in our lives
