Hi folks, how you doing? Welcome along to another episode of soundtracking with me, Edith Bowman.

Now you might think, oh wait a minute, that sounds weird. There's a weird buzzing sound in the

background. It's quite echoy. That's because I'm coming to you from a rather large dressing room

backstage at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh. It's Monday evening and I am in an interval actually of a conversation

with McLaren CEO Zach Brown who just yesterday saw one of his drivers, Lando Norris, win

the Drivers' Championship at the final Grand Prix of the season. And less than 24 hours later, I am chatting to him on stage at the Usher Hall.

It's mental.

He's lovely.

I'm having a great time.

And so I'm bringing you another episode of soundtracking in between that chat.

I know.

Life's mental.

Our latest episode of soundtracking involves a wonderful conversation between Kate Winslet, her son, Joe Anders, composer Ben Harlan and music supervisor James Taylor, who joined me to discuss Kate's directorial debut Goodbye June, which Joe wrote.

Now, the film tells the story of a family who gather around their dying mother at Christmas,

played by the wonderful Helen Minnan.

And it's a family who are confronting grief, reconciliation and love.

The ensemble cast is magnificent.

Kate, obviously, I mention Helen Murren, Timothy Spall, Andrea Reisbrough, Johnny Flynn, all delivering as usual.

Ah, jaw-dropping performances. Ben's score is yet to be released, so we're going to begin with a needle drop that features in the movie.
