Summary

**Trigger Warning**

This episode contains a story about gun violence and narcissistic abuse. If this is distressing for you, please skip it!

Katre has a phenomenal story of escaping a toxic, narcissistic abusive relationship that highlights the resiliency of the human spirit. She shares how she escaped, what brought her to the moment of needing to get out, and how she healed afterward.

Those of you who have experienced narcissistic abuse may see yourself in Katre's journey. She shares it to help others feel less alone because when you go through something like this, as Katre shared, people in your life may not understand the extent of the abuse. Many of her friends waved off her ex's behavior as emotionally immature.

But Katre was able to leave this relationship in 2018 and has worked on healing in the years since, even becoming a mentor and coach to others. If you can relate to her story, consider joining her Facebook community: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1917430661795072/
