Having good teens and big brands that are having success all over the

country is good for the sport. I'm an old-school guy. I was pissed when they

moved the extra point back in the NFL. All you can do is a higher up is write

the rules. You don't have to be good at your job. Just be consistently bad at it

for everybody.

But news coming out in the sports world. You've probably already heard about it. Whether

it's on social media, wherever you get your information from, college football and

the powers that be. So the commissioners and, you know, whatever Avenger Notre Dame decided

to send a representative decided that the college should, while playoff as it stands,

the 14 format will be extended to the end of its 12 year contract through 2025 and they're

going to reevaluate in 2026. If you follow the show, you know where I stand on this. But

if you haven't, I want to go over the basis of why I think expansion to eight, 12 at

max is not a bad thing. But before I get into that, I want to make sure everybody understands.

I'm all for meritocracy. I don't understand the argument of expanding it to eight or 12,

just destroys meritocracy. The best teams in a term, that's like saying meritocracy doesn't exist

in college basketball because they play a tournament at the end. You actually get more team,

you get more meritocracy because more teams are playing in important games. So it's actually

the opposite end of the meritocracy argument. But when you look at the full scale of the health

of the sport, and to be honest with you, if you put 18s, 12 teams, 16 teams, 600 teams,
