You know, when I went to see Megalopoulos this week,

It was preceded by this, like, live-streamed interview

between Francis Ford Coppola, Robert De Niro, and Spike Lee,

as well as Dennis Lim, who is the actual moderator.

He works at the New York Film Festival. And Robert De Niro, famously inarticulate man, can barely string a sentence together.

But, like, if you get him on the subject of Trump, he's off.

And so, like, at some point, Dennis Lim was asking them all a question about, like,

are you optimistic about the future of film?

And De Niro wasn't really listening.

And Spike Lee, like, poked him awake.

And he goes, I'm worried.

And, you know, in two months we may elect the man who.

I mean, De Niro gives this very partisan little speech about how like you know

we all have to register to vote to make sure to make sure that man who that don't even want to say

his name that man and the question was about like the future of cinema he's just not listening

he's just too like MSNBC pill we Yeah. We have to, we have to make

sure that doesn't happen. That's not us. He's exhausted, uh, from writing blurbs for David
