passionate defender of human rights. She was the director of the campaign group Liberty.

She was Labour's Shadow Attorney General, and she's now a Labour Lord. And I spoke to

a few weeks ago, though this remains as relevant as ever, it's about the spy cops bill, the

legislation enabling undercover police officers to torture rape and murder.

Unfortunately, Labour abstained on this, not ideal, led as it is by former human rights lawyer.

So it's a really interesting educational look at what the legislation actually is and what it

No, well, it's great to have you on. This is the whole point of the show. It's people

like you make it what it is. So we very, very appreciate it. People already complaining about

my hair, which looks ridiculous. Some people unfavorably compare me to Boris Johnson, but you are

looking fantastic. So that's great. Good to see you, Roman. I think your hair looks great.
