That blew my mind.
When I told him I couldn't wrap my mind around that, his reply was:
“Dan, I've just been doing one thing for 52 years. I'm 73. It's not that impressive.”
Then he asked me a question:
“Can you wake up every day for a thousand days, call it three years, every day, and do the work?”
The work is keeping the commitments you make to yourself.
