And today, me and Will are here to make you laugh, more than you usually are.

Hell yeah. We're talking about failed comedians.

Yeah. Well, not necessarily failed comedians, because a lot of these people that were talking about were successful in like a smaller capacity.

But when they finally made it to the big leagues and got a feature film to star in, that's when it tanked.

And I'm very, I'm just very fascinated by this genre because when you see a movie that stars a comedian where it was their only big starring role, and it was clearly like primed to be the movie that launches them to Jim Carrey level

superstardom.

Like, it just has an extra layer of sadness to it.

It's like, it's like a stairway to nowhere.

I think it's really important because isn't sadness the real root of all comedy?

I think so. I mean, sadness is really, well, I don't know if it's the root of all comedy,

but sadness and funniness are definitely two sides to the same coin.

So the movies that we watched today were Fred Allen's Big Break, a 40s radio comedian,

It's in the Bag.

Followed by three more recent talents, the Norm MacDonald film Dirty Work, the Chris

Catan vehicle Corky Romano.

And, yeah, and of course, the movie that made Justin Sick.

Yep.

And finally, of course, Mr. Tom Green's singular vision, Freddy got fingered.
