Now the context behind Genesis 20 is really, really important because this is

Genesis 2017 talks about healing is because well verse 18 says the Lord had

But when it comes down to it, just on a base level, so all that context is it's a very unique circumstance.

At the same time, don't miss just the basic truth here that we see all

over the Bible like Abraham prayed to God and God healed Abimalak and his wife and those in his household.

Like when we pray, we are praying to the God who is sovereign over the health of every one of our lives and everyone we're praying too.

And it's entirely right to pray for healing.

And again, so the context is very different, but we see this all throughout scripture.

We see people who are sick seeking God for healing. We see people interceding for others, praying for God to

heal others. We see encouragement, even commands in the church when someone is sick to call the

elders of the church to pray over them for healing, knowing knowing that God answers those prayers in different ways at different

times, and we don't just mechanically know, okay, if I just pray for healing or if I pray this many times,

it's gonna automatically happen the way I'm praying.

There's so much gospel perversion when it comes to health and wealth teaching
