Welcome to Grumpy Old Geeks on Jason DeFilippo and I'm Brian Schultmeister.

Little follow up on the the new studio Brian. I have toured it. I have a draft

to lease in hand and now it's just down to running numbers and finding people

that'll help pay for it. You know the hard part, the actual creation of the

business. Yeah. Yeah, the business part, the business part, the part that takes

all the time and it is very very time consuming. Lots of phone calls, lots of

emails, lots of money. Didn't we do a whole story or a whole story, a whole

episode long time ago about starting up your own business and all that and we

were screaming about all the people that spent all the time worrying about

getting their letters of incorporation together and placing their ads in the

newspaper because you have to run three ads with the name of the company

to make it legit. Oh yeah, yeah, we're always just like make sure you have the

actual work first. Yeah, yeah, you got that part. You definitely have to have the

business first. I'm doing both at the same time because there's time time

constraints involved. But doing the numbers first is actually really humbling to

figure out how much money it's going to cost to run that. How much money I have to

make before I actually start making money is that's where that's where the

you know the trout of truth comes slapping you in the face. Oh yes, modeling and

projections. Yes, yes, little things that you forget about like oh general liability
