this is Strong Appendix Sports episode 553. I hope you're doing great. I'm doing

very well. I'm a little bit, probably overly excited actually, like we got a great show today.

It's very long. There's going to be a lot to talk about. But man, we're going to do a lot of follow-ups today,

kind of going back to topics we've talked about before and I think that's a strength of doing

the show so frequently. I really like the schedule we're on

doing the show so regularly. I can go back and comment on old stuff and clean things up and cover

things for a second time and I think it just makes the show better. It's just a really great way to do it. I love it. I'm really happy.

I want to just share a non-sports-related thought. You can skip ahead if you want to. I've had this thought for a few days in my head now and I got to be careful how I tell this story because

within the beginning of a YouTube video there's certain words you cannot say but my favorite beverage comes in a copper mug traditionally and has a

Russian thing and then the second half it's an M. M and the second word is similar to a donkey.

It's a type of drink.

And I'm with my friends the other night and they all use plastic straws and I'm with my friends the other night,

and they all use plastic straws.

And I'm like, guys, why do we have straws?

I've never understood the plastic straw thing.

It's not that hard. I've never understood why we need straws like drink like an adult you just I don't know why we use straws. It never made sense to me.
