Genesis chapter 12, verse 4.

So Abram went as the Lord had told him, and Lot went with him.

Abram was 75 years old when he departed from Heron.

I love the simplicity of this verse, but I wonder, like, what were all the emotions, thoughts going

through Abrams' head in this picture?

Like in chapter 12, verse one, God said to Abram, go from your country and your kindred and your father's house to the land

that I will show you. So God said, leave behind everything you've ever known, like your country,

your family, and go to the land that I will show you. Not even, here's the, here's the land you're going to.

It's like, I'll show you.

And then verse four just says, Abram went, as the Lord had told him.

Ah, I want that kind of obedience in my life, don't you?

That just trust God completely,

that when God says do this, don't sit back and say,

well, what about that?

Or exactly how is this going to look?

Or where am I going to end up?

What is it going to be like?

And how are you going to provide family, community,

and how are you going to do it? And just a million questions start coming to my mind i want the kind of faith that just says okay

god spoke i'm going to i'm going to do it oh i pray that god would give me that kind of faith you that

kind of faith that kind of obedience god we, that kind of obedience. God, we pray for this.
