Genesis chapter 12 verse 4 so Abram went as the Lord had told him, and Lott went with him, Abram was 75 years old when he departed from

I love the simplicity of this verse, but I wonder, like, what were all the emotions, thoughts going

through Abraham's head in this picture? Like in chapter 12 verse one God said to Abram go from your country

and your kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. So God

said leave behind everything you've ever known like your country,

your family and go to the land that I will show you. And not even here's the here's the land that I will show you. And not even, here's the land you're going to,

it's like, I'll show you.

And then verse four just says,

Abram went,

as the Lord had told him.

Ah, I want that kind of obedience in my life, don't you?

That just trust God completely?

That when God says do this, trust God

says do this,

don't sit back and say,

well what about that?
