So I want to take us in a different direction for a moment and then get back and let's talk about what beauty is.

Yes.

I want to talk about imagination.

Okay.

Yeah.

And the importance of imagination to a life of faith and use that as sort of an intro to this

conversation about beauty.

I was reading a book by Eugene Peterson.

It was called, I just, I think I picked it up because the title was cool.

It was called subversive spirituality.

And he, one point began to talk about imagination and said if you're if you're the entire investment of your life is in a God you can't see. you can't hear, you can't touch, then imagination

is a very important thing, that imagination is not the ability to conjure up what is unreal.

We think of that with children, but to see what is real but is unseen.

Yes.

And then he notes that we need things in our lives that stimulate imagination.
