Clint joins us to share a unique story, something kind of unlike any of the 500-plus episodes

we've done before, where yes, we we get into some hunting but we get into more

of kind of Clint's life story and as you hear this kind of developed over the course of a couple

years of me exchanging emails with Clint not having it in mind to record a podcast with him

but the more I learned everything he went through

and how he persevered to hunt and kind of make his dream hunts come true and pursue that reality.

I was inspired by it. I personally wanted to just have an opportunity to chat with Clint more and hear more of his

story. And I figured if I wanted to do that, it would be worth sharing with all of you guys as

I spend a lot of time driving around at work and I just got on Spotify and I think I just typed in hunt or hunting and y'all were the first one that popped up.

And it's been a downhill slide from there.

I had never, I had never, I mean, you know, backcountry, western hunting is something you always dream about but

didn't seem realistic and uh the way y'all broke it down and talked about it seemed attainable

so uh the sickness began, I guess.

At that point, you hadn't hunted elk. Had you hunted, like, out of state or done anything?
