Hello and welcome to the Great Indoors, our podcast that will tell you everything that's going on in interiors and how to make it work for you in your home. I'm Sophie Robinson and I'm Kate Watson Smyth and we're so excited to be doing this first episode

0:21.5

because we've been talking about doing a podcast for so long and now we're finally doing it.

0:30.3

Hello again lovely listeners. Oh my goodness it's not actually the first episode but

0:36.6

due to lockdown we are back in our two-fade dens and you just heard time-t Watson Smyth and I all the way from 2018.

0:48.8

That was a clip of our very first podcast episode.

0:53.4

And don't be so nervous.

0:54.6

Oh, but we were so full of ideas and enthusiasm

0:59.1

and quite a lot of terror.

1:01.4

1:26.4

we recently topped 1 million downloads so it seemed like a good time to take a small breather and a look back at how far we've come.

1:36.0

That plus the fact that this year is quite frankly crying out for a bit of comforting nostalgia.

1:44.8

So this episode is a bit of a different beast.

1:47.9

Essentially, it's Kate and I flicking back over old episodes and remembering more innocent times when we were

1:55.4

fresher-faced and Kate still disapproved of feature walls and well didn't like

1:59.6

yellow. We can discuss that in more detail in the next series. However, the festive season is looming,

2:05.8

so we thought how better to round off the series and the year than with something truly

2:11.2

traditional, and what could be more traditional than a flaming row.

2:15.0

Now disagreements have been a big part of the show over the last couple of years so we've

2:19.7

collected some of our favorites sort of like a lovely box of really cross quality street, just for you.

2:30.2

Moving on from Ted and his squelchy socks, or rather my squelchy socks and Ted's top tips,

...
