could putses emotions feelings whatever but you don't actually do that I was just going for the pun you know you could push

I love how the pun is more important to you than the reality. Obviously, obviously it is, and if it took you this long to figure it out, Brett,

I go for the pun every time. Well, obviously I love that pun and the reason I love it is today we are talking about something

that's been in the news especially especially in the Delphi case,

even though it didn't actually happen in the Delphi case yet.

And that is a motion to suppress.

We've talked a little bit about motions to suppress

in past episodes, including in our case progression

episode. But we thought we would kind of dive more into what exactly is a motion to

suppress, what are the standards, when do you bring it, what happens if it's

granted, what if it's's denied and kind of what role it plays in the life of a case

And it's funny how often sort of what's going on in the news effects what we end up talking about because as I've said before we live this stuff

and so sometimes I forget that a lot of it is very foreign and alien to a lot of people and when this whole suppression issue came

up there were people who were sending us messages they filed a motion to suppress
