Today I'm going to be talking about confidence and mindfulness.

Specifically, I really want to focus on the idea of unlearning the thought that you aren't enough. For me, the idea of not being enough, not clever enough, not happy enough, not nice enough, not funny enough,

at different times in my life, these not enough thoughts have held me back. And I think this is a

really common thing and most of us do struggle at some point with low self-esteem or lack of

confidence as a result of our beliefs

about not being enough. Now you might be wondering why this is important. It's important because

when we are aware of these thoughts, when we know that our confidence is suffering because of a

certain idea about not being enough,

that's when we can try to reduce its influence over us.

And this is where mindfulness can be really useful.

So, for example, when I decided to try yoga for the first time several years ago,

I distinctly remember a whole lot of not enough thoughts.

In particular, I'm not flexible enough to do yoga.

I also talked on the last episode about a lot of stress I felt when I went to the dentist
