Summary

Sleep and stress have a far bigger impact on performance than you realise. In this show Tom and I discuss some recent research on sleep, stress and your gym strength, and how this can impact your recovery time. We were then planning to discuss sleep supplements, but we went down the rabbit hole of discussing how our routines and mindset can give us poor performance outcomes from letting anxiety slip in, RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion), gym programming, and how to be more targeted or more flexible for your goals - which is the key thing, YOUR goals.
