And we are here today to talk to you about UFC 308, better known as the final and also first proof that Phil and I actually know what we're talking about.

Ilya versus Max Holloway for the featherweight championship.

That was the highly anticipated main event of this card.

And it was a crushing disappointment for every MMA fan who loves Max Holloway,

which is to say 95% of all MMA fans.

But a little, just a little bit of sweetness in there for smart lads like Phil and I, who I think for once in our fucking lives actually did a pretty damn good job of understanding the dynamics of this fight.

Just before we jump in, I'll say, of course, we had Coms at Shemay of Robert

Whitaker. More crushing disappointment, but that'll be interesting to talk about.

Magamette Ancolaev actually had what I thought was a pretty badass fight with Alexander

Rockich, defying all expectations. And Lorone Murphy went tooth and nail with Dan Igay.

So we're going to talk about all of that, whatever we have time for,

maybe even touch on one or two of the fights coming up next week.

If so, that'll almost certainly be bonus material.
