I've worked three and a half years now as a psych tech at a unit that covers the

southeast portion of my state.

The unit I work on you can think of is like the ER for the psych world.

We admit individuals who are having mental breakdowns or who need help for self harm.

Being disabled from their psych disorder or harming others.

This unit is freaking old and has been around since the time of Moses it seems.

Even though weird events go on, it's an awesome job, helping others out, and I love working

here while I finish going to school.

I will say to start out with most nights the unit is quiet and can be quite boring.

So here are a few of the experiences on the unit that are more paranormal or spiritual.

Naturally, with the type of individuals that stay here, the unit can have a change in

feeling rather quickly.
