Welcome to Grumpy Old Geeks on Jason DeFilippo. And that's right, Brian's not here

today. Brian is at Lego Land with his kids on this St. Patrick's Day that I'm

recording on, if Thursday, May 17th, 2022, which is strange. 25 years ago when I

met Brian in the summer of 1996, I think it's 20 years, something like that.

That's what Siri tells me. If I would have told myself or his self back then

that in 25 years, I would be co-hosting a radio show with him on the internet.

He's got a wife, a kid lives in Canada. I'm the sober one and he is at Lego Land

with his kids. It's just none of this makes sense. None of it makes any sense.

But that's the situation. Hopefully he's not stepping barefoot on any Lego

bricks because that would be pretty bad. Anyway, I hope he's having a great day

with the fam, but between us kids, we've got Dave Bittner coming up shortly.

I'm going to bring you up to speed on some of the news. If you want to stick

around to the end, Dave and I talk about my stroke recovery a little bit. It's

kind of not the greatest topic in the world, but a lot of people have asked me

about it since I mentioned it on the show. So I wanted to do some follow-up and

talk about what it's like a little bit more. But like I said, I put it at the

very tail end of the show. So if it's not something you're interested in, skip it.
