1:23.0	As we continue this series on our calling to be the light of the world and share the gospel in our neighborhoods, we must remember these words from the Apostle Paul.
1:27.3	Quote, for I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone
1:32.3	who believes, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
1:35.6	Romans 1.16.
1:38.2	With all the negativity in the media and the shifting public opinion on Christianity,
1:43.1	it's understandable why many of us might feel
1:45.4	increasingly ashamed, or at least timid. As our culture grows increasingly secular and hostile
1:51.3	to the core beliefs of the Bible, it's tempting to go into hiding and not be as bold. So we must
1:57.5	remind ourselves not to be ashamed of the gospel, while also meditating on the power, promises, presence, provision, and protection of God as we evangelize.
2:07.4	But there is another statement from the Apostle Paul that is equally as important.
2:11.5	Quote, the saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance
2:14.8	that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners,
