Hello folks, welcome to Luke's English podcast. You join me on a Saturday evening and I'm sitting

upstairs on the sort of rooftop terrace thing that we've got here and the sun is going down in the

distance and I've got views of Paris looking absolutely splendid I can see the

Eiffel Tower and other landmarks and stuff.

Last weekend it was going completely crazy here, absolutely mad because of the World Cup.

And now it's kind of, you know, mid to late July and Paris is kind of going

in switching into holiday mode but it's good the weather's nice it's quite hot

and not too hot fairly hot blue skies sunshine it's very nice indeed summertime is

here and so let's see my wife is out the baby is asleep downstairs in the bedroom and I've got one of those kind of special kind of baby speakers going on here

You know kind of like a walkie talkie for babies.

Yeah, so I've got that going on there in the background as well.

So if the baby starts crying or something, there might be a little noise, you might hear it through the speaker.
