0:17.8	wanted to talk to you very briefly because there's been a bit of a stink
0:21.5	kicked up in the fitness space online in recent days
0:25.3	about a product called a company called Skinny jab. This is a product that is being
0:31.2	marketed online quite heavily in recent days. I don't know if it's a
0:34.5	relatively new company or if they've just stepped up their marketing efforts. But they've
0:38.7	recently hired two celebrities I suppose we can say, though I don't honestly know really who one of them is
0:45.9	one of them is kerikit owner I don't know the other one and the basic idea
0:51.4	behind this company is that they provide a product that they refer to as
0:55.6	skinny jab which will help you to lose weight and the marketing campaigns are largely
1:00.0	centered around the success of these two women who have historically struggled with their body weight, to lose weight and feel better about themselves, which I think we can all agree is good for them.
1:11.0	Happy days. Success is always nice. Well, this kicks up a bit of a stink and this is primarily really justified. I mean Ben made a really good post about it on social media just calling out the the post that one of the
1:24.9	ladies who are being used for this marketing campaign made because the the claims that are
1:30.6	made around it seem very outlandish but additionally it just seems as
1:34.2	though the the entire attitude that is being promoted by the posts though not by
1:40.0	the company and we'll get to that in a minute seem to be that you can use this injection and you'll just lose weight and everything will be fine, it's a cure-all.
1:47.0	But that's not really the case.
1:49.0	If you look on the company website for Skinny Job,
1:51.0	and this is definitely not an endorsement of the company as I'm going to get to in a second.
