We're going to keep it short and sweet today.

And we now present to you the story and the case of Levina Johnson.

Levina Johnson chose to join the military after graduating high school as a way to pay for her own education and ease the burden off her parents.

After basic training, she was deployed to Balad Iraq, and within weeks of deployment, reported that she had been

raped. On July 19, 2005, five weeks into her deployment, she was found dead in what was allegedly

a contractor's tent. The army was quick to rule her death as suicide, and her parents have been left

fighting for answers ever since. So, let's start off by me getting real with everybody. This is something that used to piss me off. I mean, it still pisses me on. Yeah. But it has pissed me off for a long time. For sure. It's something that I didn't really know how to approach either. I was kind of afraid to talk about this whole subject. Right. Especially without having a partner who was in the military. That's kind of helped a little bit.
