When a popular 15-year-old teenagers found murdered in an affluent, exclusive suburb of Greenwich, Connecticut, the town was shaken.

This was the first murder there in 30 years. Things like this just didn't happen in Greenwich.

There was a killer on the loose. But who was it? As the investigation unfolded, police found that they

didn't have to look far. They found their number one suspect in a teenage

neighbor. They also found that this particular teenager was from one of the most well-known

families in America. Their number one suspect was a Kennedy. Everyone awaited an arrest.

But police said they just didn't have enough evidence to charge anyone. They couldn't take it any farther, so the case went cold.

The story would hit the headlines every few years,

and the mysterious details surrounding the murder always left people wondering.

In the end, it took 27 years to convict someone of the crime. And the identity of the
