Our friend Alan Seppenwell is back.

0:05.9

Alan, here is what I want to ask you today.

0:08.8

As anyone who's been watching the Gilded Age knows the hottest fight of the 18-Whatevers is

0:14.0

which opera company shall prevail.

0:17.2

Fraser Crane has, thanks to a wrinkle in time, ended up in New York and in the crossfire between Mrs. Aster and Mrs. Russell, whose camp does this famous opera fan end up in why and how does he affect the battle?

0:32.0

Well, Frazier, as we all know, is both a snob and a basic bitch, so he always assumes that older and more

0:38.0

traditional is better, so of course he sides with Mrs. Astor. He throws a fancy dinner party

0:43.2

in hopes of swaying the new money people, but there are inevitable misunderstandings and slam

0:47.4

0:55.4

once again wimping out, and once again switching to buttons and bows.

0:59.5

And because the pale face won't be in movie theaters for close to 60 years,

1:06.7

his audience doesn't know how badly he's mangling the lyrics and they applaud politely.

1:11.0

This gives him the idea to begin singing popular musical works of the 20th century that will

1:15.5

seem brand new to his guests. But as he racks his brain trying to remember the appropriate

1:20.1

Cole Porter lyrics, he realizes that his time at cheers still occupies way too much of his

1:25.1

memory, so he shifts into We Will Rock You by Queen.

1:30.0

Everyone is amazed, and Frazier is on the verge of winning the opera war.

1:33.8

But if you know Frazier, and you should because he's Frazier, then you know he will sabotage

1:38.8

himself before the end. When it's time to serve the dessert, both Frazier and his guests are

1:43.5

horrified to see that the cake Frazier requested is actually the naughty one he was going to reluctantly order for the retirement party of one of his dad's cop buddies.
