Summary

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It’s a tale of two anecdotes today, and in a way both of them fall into the latter category. Elis has been donning his corporate hat on no sleep and nearly no thumb, while John has been encountering some very public acts of love.

With the dust finally settled on all things marathon, we’re back to regular programming: a Cymru Connection that’s literally staring Elis in the face, and a Made Up Game that leaves everyone giggling like school children.

Have you ever encountered public love-making? Did you nearly chop off your thumb then swear at a room full of insurers? Let us know on hello@elisandjohn.com.

It's not a Kenyan accent.

1:27.2

It's Italian. Dave began. Cheers, Claudio. I like to start talking about marginal gains. Claudio told me he only get tested every four months, but Mandy only stays in your system for five days. So after you test, grab some eckies and they'll help you chill out. And if they do a sweat test, my mate Gibbo does this thing, whereas if he's got a tag on, he gets pigskin from the butchers and if you put it under the sensor, it can't detect it. Smells rank after a few days where they just get some more out of the freezer. Cloudio's brow furrowed. A hand went up. what if you're not wearing a tag Dave looked panic I'm not thought about that to be fair

let me Claudio's brow furrowed. A hand went up. What if you're not wearing a tag? Dave looked panic.

2:03.0

I'm not thought about that to be fair. Let me text Gibble, but I think he's at Creamfield,

2:07.4

so he might not have signal. Claudia moved on. John, how did you maintain your competitive edge?

2:15.8

Great question, Claudio. I knew my pace had slackened when I was

overtaken by a man dressed as a microphone. Many of you here will be familiar with a run-walk strategy,
