Brian Schultmeister. We got some follow-up this week and this first one made me

laugh because I was actually for whatever reason I reinstalled a bunch of

things with my TV and my Apple TV and my fire stick and all that sort of stuff

and reconnected everything and reconnected it to Amazon and all that sort of

stuff. So everything was reconnecting and of course you know now that they're

also connected they try to get you to you know connect even further and

get further and further into the ecosystem. So as I was hooking up my TV and

my Amazon fire stick and it was like you can control inputs just say blah blah

blah blah and this was like maybe 20 minutes after Chris had sent this in. So

this is from Chris. I laughed out loud at the description of using Alexa to

switch weight values on Nordic track dumbbells. I have no idea how any of this

voice activated stuff saves anyone any time. One of my grumpy old man's

ticking points is my refusal to put smart speakers in my apartment. It's partly

about privacy, partly about not knowing what to do with them apart from setting

timers and partly my first hand observations and my friends and their Alexa and

Google speakers, which is always like this him. Google changed TV to HDMI
