The manufacturers have some level of proprietary technologies in communicating between the battery and the tool.

And a lot of what that does is it measures the discharge rate of the battery.

So by training, I'm an electrical engineer, and most of my focus is on digital circuitry

Currently I'm working in the aerospace industry, making control actuators for Boeing, Airbus,
