Okay, I'm going to apologize to my mom and my wife on this one.

I had a smoke and fumes emergency when I was departing Guam and we thought our airplane

was on fire.

When you have an internal fire, you have not a lot of time.

So we turned around, we had to put the airplane on the ground very quickly, we had a lot of

gas on board.

I was in charge that day even though the other pilot was even more senior and experienced
