Her most insane rationale is that this habit pays for itself. She begins telling me about this point system at her local frozen yogurt store.

You see, every dollar you spend equals a point at random the shop announces a multiplier window. A window of time where points are multiplied. During a triple points window, I buy myself a $100 gift card, which equals 300 points. On dice, you can roll a dice that you can earn up to 20 times points multiplier. If you work the system, you never have to pay for frozen yogurt again. Never, I say.
